It is mainly based on petroleum coke and needle -shaped coke, and coal pettea is used as a binding agent. The heating conductor can be divided into ordinary power, high power and ultra -high power according to its quality indicators. Graphite electrodes include:
(1) Ordinary power graphite electrode. Allowing a graphite electrode with a current density of less than 17A/cm 2, it is mainly used for ordinary power furnaces such as steelmaking, silicon, and yellow phosphorus.
(2) Antioxidant coating graphite electrode. A graphite electrode with a layer of antioxidant protective layer is coated on the surface, forming a protective layer that can conduct electricity and high temperature resistant oxidation, and reduce the electrode consumption during steelmaking.
(3) High -power graphite electrode. Allowing a graphite electrode with a current density of 18 to 25A/cm 2, it is mainly used for high -power arc furnaces for steelmaking.
(4) Ultra -high -power graphite electrode. Allows the use of graphite electrodes with current density greater than 25A/cm 2. It is mainly used for ultra -high -power steelmaking arc furnaces.
